Who we are
Structural Hub is a design consultancy based in Birmingham providing structural engineering services to homeowners, architects, contractors across the UK since 2016. Our engineers have a diverse range of experience with various skills and knowledge to enable us to deliver projects to a very high standard and completed hundreds of projects since our inception. Our team specialises in domestic properties from simple structural alterations and surveys to larger refurbishments and new builds. From design through to planning, reviewing and construction. We design in all primary materials including steel, concrete timber and aluminium and produce detailed structural drawings.
How we work
Along side with the traditional methods of design to the Eurocodes using hand calculations we use a range of the latest software and technology to ensure we meet the client requirements with a quick turn around time but ensure the high level or quality and standard is maintained during delivery. Our design software includes Tekla TEDDS and design spreadsheets and for more larger projects we use Robot Structural Analysis software to carry out a dvance finite element analysis. By taking into consideration risk, client’s budget and constructability we are committed to helping out clients to build a safe, cost effective and buildable solution. Our deliverables usually consist of a set of calculation and drawings produced in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and Revit.

Some of the clients who we work closely for we provide an effective service and get involved in various stages in the process including the bidding stage to give our thoughts on structural systems which maybe required. We can assist you at all stages of your projects and deliver all the structural design requirements whilst ensuring the cost is reasonable within your budget and delivering the designs to high standards.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Having assurance in place for your designs is really important and can act as a guarantee to satisfy the client for the services that will be provided to them. We have a PI insurance policy which covers us for all of our consulting engineering services for £1 Million.
